                                 I'm Really Gonna Miss You
                                     By Smokey Robinson

Really gonna miss you,
It's really gonna be different without you.
Time is gonna be hard and slow.
For the rest of my life,
I'm gonna be thinkin about you, Yes I am.
Time came when you had to go.
I'll miss you my buddy,
I'll miss you my friend.
I promise my love for you will never end.
In you're finest hour , I was there with you,
And without you, Things won't be the same,
But there's a higher power that we answer to,
And you heard him callin your name,
Really gonna miss you,
Everything about you,
Your smiling face,
Yes, I know you want us all to be strong.
Really gonna miss you.
I know you've gone to that magic place,
Singin you a brand new song.
I'll miss you my buddy,
I'll miss you my friend,
I promise my love for you will never end,
Really gonna miss you!

Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared beneath the stars above
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known you'd ever say goodbye
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance
Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I the king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say you know I might have changed it all
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance
Yes my life is better left to chance
I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance

Harry was one of the people I loved to see when I would enter the scene shop on a daily basis.  He made everyone feel like family because of his sense of humor.  If you had any question, no matter how stupid, you could go to Harry.  Sure he would make fun of you for it if it was stupid enough, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Even though I did not know Harry for as long as my fellow theatre classmates, he made an impression on me that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.  He lived his life to the fullest, and I feel honored to have known him and to have called him my friend.

He will live on in the hearts of all of those that loved him, and we all miss him dearly.

Sincerely,
Joseph Baumgartner

A Parable of Immortality I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, " There she goes! " Gone where? Gone from my sight . . . that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of destination. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, " There she goes! " there are other eyes watching her coming . . . and other voices ready to take up the glad shout . . . " Here she comes! " ~Henry Van Dyke In the hearts and minds of all he smiled upon.

Alma and family, it was such a pleasure to know Harry. Working in the theatre scene shop most of my first semester at Bradley, Harry never once hesitated to help me, or anyone else for that matter, out on the task at hand. Harry always exemplified a positive attitude, work ethic, an interest to teach others, a fantastic sense of humor, a genuine happiness, and (of course), those fabulous sassy t-shirts that I always talked to him about. Harry was a kind, generous, and loving figure in the theatre department who I know none of the students or faculty will ever forget. It's impossible to forget Harry. Alma and family, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. SIncerely, Rebecca Flores Bradley '12
